The Reschini Group will welcome Todd D. Brice as Vice President, Business Development, on December

1, 2023.

Brice, who was most recently President & CEO of Indiana-based S&T Bank, has extensive experience in

many facets of the financial services industry.

Brice has remained an active member of the community and is currently a board member for the Indiana

County Development Corporation, Seton Hill University and Pennsylvania Mountain Care Network.

Brice earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Grove City College in Grove City,

PA and completed a three-year program through the Graduate School of Banking at the University of

Wisconsin in Madison, WI. He previously served on the boards of the Pittsburgh branch of the Federal

Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Indiana County YMCA, and Indiana Regional Medical Center. Brice is also a

member of the Pittsburgh Gold Chapter of the Young President’s Organization and a former member of

the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce.

Reschini Adds Two Vice Presidents

The Reschini Group added two senior staff members: Sarah Ramer, Vice President of Human Resources and Doug Sweeney, Vice President & Account Executive. Ms. Ramer will work from the Reschini home office in Indiana, Pa., while Mr. Sweeney will work from the Pittsburgh Office.

Sarah brings a wealth of experience to help us build and retain the best team possible,” said Joe Reschini, President of The Reschini Group. “Doug’s depth of knowledge of complex insurance structuring and financing will help us continue to expand our customer base by providing the property/casualty coverage and consultation our customers need.”

Ramer has extensive experience in the financial services industry with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and design and administration of compensation. A board member of the Indiana County Area Society for Human Resources Management, she is a Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP). She is active in Indiana County Young Life and Summit Church.

Sweeney works with organizations of all sizes, both commercial and municipal, to plan and place property/casualty programs. Well versed in the financing structures of insurance as well as assessing potential exposures, he helps his customers minimize risk while understanding their best options for funding. He has worked with large insurance carriers and has experience in underwriting and managing programs. Sweeney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance/Risk Management from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems Management from Duquesne University.

Joe Totten Joins the Reschini Group

Joseph C. Totten III is joining The Reschini Group and Evergreen Insurance as Chief Revenue Officer. Joe will be responsible for overseeing the management and growth of current client relationships as well as supporting the firm’s long-term growth initiatives. Prior to joining the Reschini Group, Joe was the Vice President for a large national broker in Pittsburgh.

The Reschini Group Buying Majority Ownership of Evergreen Insurance from S&T Bank

Company will Continue Operations Under Evergreen Name

INDIANA, Pa., November 15, 2017 – S&T Bank, a full-service financial institution with assets of $7.2 billion, and locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York, announced today that it is selling majority ownership of S&T Evergreen Insurance (Evergreen) to The Reschini Group (Reschini). Evergreen Insurance will begin independent operation on January 1, 2018 with no change to its locations. S&T and Reschini have a long history of doing business together and S&T will serve as an ongoing referral source to Evergreen.

The Reschini Group Wins Healthy Empoyer Challenge

This spring, the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and Indiana Regional Medical Center held the inaugural Healthiest Employer Challenge to promote health and health awareness in the county.

The eight-week challenge, which began May 1, offered local businesses a chance to compete for an average of most steps walked, most weight lost and blood pressure. Measurements were taken at the beginning and end of the challenge.

The winner is the Reschini Group, followed by Indiana County Chamber of Commerce, second; Quinntech, third; S&T Bank, fourth; Indiana First Bank, fifth; Kuzneski & Lockard Real Estate, sixth; Indiana Regional Medical Center, seventh; Kuzneski Financial Group, eighth.

The Reschini Group walked an average of 608,179 steps per person — more than 300 miles — with an average weight loss of 5 pounds per person.

Job Opportunity: Property & Casualty Claims Manager

We seek a self-motivated, seasoned claims professional to serve as a commercial lines Claims Manager in our Property & Casualty Department, working with clients, insurance carrier representatives, and third parties to investigate, negotiate, coordinate, and strategize to achieve the best outcome possible.  This position entails establishing and maintaining good working relationships with clients and carrier representatives; serving as client advocate and carrier liaison; and documenting, monitoring, and maintaining the flow of information on all claims.  This position will also interact with the Reschini Group team on policy information, coverage gap analysis, loss control initiatives, and claim communications.

In addition to strong relationship-building, communication, prioritization, organization, and reasoning skills, this position also requires: a thorough understanding of commercial coverages and terminology; ability to assess terms and conditions of policies and contracts regarding coverage; evaluation of complex coverage issues, such as multi-line insurance and layered coverage; and experience advising clients regarding contract language on hold harmless/indemnification clauses and insurance requirements/coverages.  Travel is required, including accompanying producers on production calls and client visits to promote our Claim Department capabilities.

The Reschini Group launched a mobile app for Android and iPhone/iPad that provides information and resources for business owners on the subjects of healthcare reform and the Affordable Care Act. The purpose of the app is to provide business owners and HR professionals with relevant, timely, useful information amidst the uncertainty and changes in the healthcare insurance and employee benefits industry. The information that The Reschini Group posts on the app are generally related to employee benefits, workplace trends, healthcare reform, and changes in the Affordable Care Act. The app also surveys users regarding their organization’s plans regarding benefits.

“This industry is a rapidly-changing one,” said Joe Reschini. “It is important to us that we make every effort to help keep our clients and colleagues abreast of the changes that may affect them and their businesses.”

The app is just one of several tools that The Reschini Group employs to help educate its clients about industry trends. The App will soon add risk management, workers comp and other property/casualty related content.
