Philanthropy has long been part of our corporate culture. With management leading the way, Reschini Group employees have consistently maintained 100 percent participation in the United Way campaign.

"The Reschini Group has determined that our corporate goals must be linked to the betterment of both the company and the community, and as a result, we take our corporate responsibility very seriously," says Roger J. Reschini.

To help handle various charitable endeavors, Roger J. Reschini was instrumental in organizing The Reschini Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Reschini Foundation sponsored its first official fundraiser in October 2002, which benefited the local Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Many of those helped by the Red Cross, via The Reschini Foundation, are fire victims in need of food, clothing, temporary shelter, prescription medicines, eyeglasses and other basic needs.

Roger J. Reschini’s mother, Rose Reschini, who founded the insurance company in 1938, was also the creator of the well-known “Christmas Angel” program, which encourages participants to purchase holiday gifts for those less fortunate. Each year the company’s employees purchase gifts for one chosen family and fill a “basket of cheer” with non-perishable food items and cleaning/laundry supplies. The company is also a regular participant in the American Cancer Society’s annual “Relay for Life.”

Roger adds, “The people who work here really do care about others. Their involvement in the community is a testimonial to their compassion and generosity.”
