The Reschini Group Ranks Second in “Best Places to Work”
(Indiana, Pennsylvania) December 3, 2009 – The Reschini Group ranked second on the 2009 “Best Places to Work in PA” list. The list, announced December 1, is based on an assessment of data from both an employer questionnaire and an employee satisfaction survey. Reschini was the top finisher of companies from Western Pennsylvania.
“Our goal is to create a work environment that permits people to reach their potential, gain success for themselves and the organization, and enjoy what they are doing,” said Roger Reschini, president and chief executive officer. “The best thing about this award is that it is largely based on a survey of our employees.”
Reschini credits the ranking to the entrepreneurial culture of the organization as well as the charitable and family focus of his staff. The organization not only sponsors all employees seeking or maintaining professional designations, but also encourages community and charitable outreach, provides flexible work hours, and full benefits.
“Since our founding in 1938, we’ve always believed in working hard, caring for one another and giving back to the community,” Reschini states.
The “Best in PA” employee survey consists of 72 statements to which employees respond plus two open-ended questions and seven demographic questions. The results are analyzed and categorized according to eight Core Focus Areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training and Development, Pay and Benefits and Overall Engagement.
This is the third time that The Reschini Group ranked on the list, the previous being in 2002 and 2003.
